nobody but the wealthy would do that. they know it and just want to destroy the peons who refuse to work for food and shelter. that is the perfect paradign that works. socialism cannot ever succeed. ha ha ha ha!

Privatizing SS would spawn a whole new industry of disreputable brokerages run by lucky Eddie down at the local pay-day loan and pawn.

Which five active players would you want helping you in a barfight?

My five would be:
Jon Rauch (6-9, 290)
Adam Dunn (6-6, 275)
CC Sabathia (6-7, 290)
Wily Mo Pena (6-3, 265)
Daniel Cabrera (6-9, 270)
Well, sort of. He’s in the Mets’ minor league system, but the guy looks like he could rip a tree out of the ground with his pinky.

Adam Dunn
CC
Prince Fielder
Wily Mo Pena
Dustin Pedroia (who cares about weight/height you gotta think hed go haywire and use a chair or something)

What does an audio amplifier do in a transmitter?

In transmitter schematics, usually there is an audio amplifier. I would like to know its purpose. Does simply amplifying the audio input create a stronger signal for transmission? So, basically, does increased audio power equate to increased range for the transmitter?
I didn’t know there was a difference, so thanks. Could someone explain what an amp would do both in AM and FM transmitters?

Audio amplifiers do amplify audio signals since a microphone signal level can be to low to be of any use for the signal transmission. From there, the question is, what kind, or class of transmitter are you talking about, AM, or FM? In AM the audio is mixed with a low level carrier signal, and then amplified to the full power rating the station is going to transmit at. In FM, the amplified audio is used to frequency modulate, that is, cause the frequency to change at the same rate as the audio signal. The benefit of FM is that much more efficient transmitters can be used, such as class ‘C’ transmitters since the audio is not affected by that class of amplifier. The audio level has little to do with transmitter output power. It does, however, have a lot to do with the space in the spectrum that the radiated signal will occupy.

How many subwoofers should i get in my car?

March 312010

I’m getting a new stereo system for my car and i’m not sure if i should get 1 or 2 subwoofers. I have a 98 escort so its not that big of a car. Also where is a good place to find quality equipment?

get 2 subwoofers and if you have enough room get 12 inch subwoofers. there is a very noticable difference between 1 and 2 subs and if you want to be loud get 2 subs. i have 4 subs myself in my car so i know what im talking about lol. think of it this way one sub can only push so much air cuz it is only 12 inches across just like one 15 inch sub can only has so much area space to push and so on. 2 12 inch subs will push a combined area of 24 inches of air. hoped this helped bro

How can I get better stereo reception when some of my walls are underground?

I live in an apartment/townhouse community and I can’t get my stereo to play at all, pure static. One of my walls is under ground and then I am surround by other units on the other three, well except for the front one that goes out side. My stereo is close to the front wall and window and I do have the antana that came with it attached. I forgot to mention this is an old school stereo, full cabinet and rack. Any ideas?

You might be able to get an external antenna for it and hook it up so the antenna is outside. They also offer cable audio in some places you may want to check on this and see if it is an option.

How do I use my home theater system speakers rather than the tv speakers?

March 312010

I have my panasonic viera TC-P42S1 tv hooked up with my HT-S5200 onkyo home theater system via HDMI cable. How do I use my home theater system speakers rather than the tv speakers? I’ve messed around with turning the tv speakers off, and I know that I have everything connected right. I just can’t find the option to switch from tv speakers, to home theater speakers. I’ve looked through my menu settings, and viera link. I need help please!

How is your cable or disc network connected to the tv. If it is connected to the tv you need to connect an optical cable from the tv to the Onkyo HT. When you want to hear the tv sound through the speakers you will need to select the source you connected the optical cable to the Onkyo system. Or you can connect the cable or disc network directly to the Onkyo versus to the tv. Hope this will help you out.
