What is the best audio program to use with video editing?

OK, so I have a Mac, and I need some suggestions for what kind of programs I can use to edit audio for use in video. Now, I’m using Final Cut Pro at the moment, but its more of a video editing program than an audio program. I’ve heard Soundtrack Pro is decent, but I don’t have it. Any suggestions?

Try Adobe Premiere, it has a free trial version
