80% of the bass …
80% of the bass comes from the box. its clicking because you cant hear most of the bass and your hearing them bottom out which is not very good. he built them correctly but they are just bottoming out. dont do that to much yo or your going to ruin a nice pair of subs.

Subs are usually …
Subs are usually designed to be impossible to bottom out before the surround or suspension will break, or the voice coil burns out. What is probably going is the coil is rubbing either because the voice oil is not perfectly centered, the cone is crooked and/or the cone is rocking.

@hulbert87 yea but lightning audio is built by rockford.. There’s no denying it period. I used to own these same subs but 12s a long time ago.. There loud I’m not knockin them at all.. I’ve just moved on to bigger and better things.
