so let me get this …
so let me get this straight, parallel wiring: from 2ohm to 1ohm(+ to + to + on amp, – to – to – on amp). series wiring: from 2 ohm to 4 ohm(+ to -, then – to – on amp, + to + on amp). (all for 1 sub with the impedance of 2ohm). now with 2 subs, parrallel wiring: 2 ohms each sub to .5 ohm for both(+ to + to + on amp, – to – to – on amp, on both subs ). series wiring: still from 2 ohm to 4 ohm. (- to +, then + to + on amp, – to – on amp, for both subs)

@a21bravo I got a question bro….I have (4) 12′ cvrs and two 1100.2 crunch amps. My cvrs are 4 ohm, and as you know the crunch amp isn’t 1 ohm stable. I want to run them at 4 ohms, is this possible? With my set-up what wirring would be best, right now i am running all 4 subs in parrallel and it shuts my amps off.

@lj70r3 nope, the lower the ohms, the more power, the higher the ohms the better sound quality, take note that house speakers and things have a higher ohm that car audio because in the house most will want t hat high quality. and in cars they have low ohms for more power. most amps will run better at a higher ohm rather than low ohms like 1 ohm which can stess your amp and damage it in the long run. but most people do ok when they run them at 1ohm.
